Doxacon Seattle 2024 is fast approaching and we’re putting the finishing touches on the event. Bored Dragon Woodworking
Bored Dragon Woodworking is a family-owned business located in Washington State. Established in April of 2022, they specialize in tabletop game accessories made out of different combinations of exotic woods. Their products range from dice towers, wooden dice, adjustable card boxes that hold 100+ sleeved cards, and score trackers. The founder has approximately 10+ years of exotic woodworking experience.

Erika Rae Heins
Erika Rae Heins has been selling pen-and-ink and watercolor illustration for nearly 15 years now, with a focus on classic literature, Tolkien, and original designs, from cute cats and octopi to dynamic comic-style storytelling, Erika lives in Bellingham and sells artwork online and at Seattle and Oregon conventions.

Dayna Ramos
Dayna Ramos is a Washington resident and traditional artist who has spent the past 6 years working with alcohol markers 🎨 She love to draw fandom inspired art, with prints and stickers ranging from sci-fi media like Star Wars and Overwatch to fantasy stories like Narnia and Game of Thrones!

Deacon Jeremiah Webster
Deacon Jeremiah Webster teaches literature and writing at Northwest University and serves as Pastor of Art and Education at Advent Anglican. His poetry has appeared in numerous journals including North American Review, Crab Creek Review, Beloit Poetry Review, Anglican Theological Review, Dappled Things, Ruminate, and Mockingbird. His first poetry collection, After So Many Fires (Wiseblood Books) was published in 2018. His first novel, Follow the Devil / Follow the Light (Acolyte Press), a fantastique in the tradition of Carroll, Dickins, and Dante, was published in 2023. His second poetry collection, Notes for a Postlude (Wipf and Stock), rose from the ashes of Covid Land, phoenix-like, in 2023 as well. When he’s not teaching or writing, Jeremiah enjoys playing The One Ring RPG with his children and hiking in the spirited Cascades.
Doxacon Seattle 2024 information
This year’s theme is At the End of all Things: Utopias, Dystopias, and the Persistence of Hope. We’re looking forward to hearing our keynote speakers and other presenters explore this theme in the context of various fandoms and from different perspectives!
How
Membership can (still!) be purchased at Brown Paper Tickets – sales close the morning of the convention (Saturday, February 10). Membership WILL be available to purchase on-site as well – but we recommend getting yours ahead of time!
Where
Doxacon Seattle 2024 will be at the Brightwater Center (22505 State Route 9 SE Woodinville, WA 98072) in Woodinville. While parking at Brightwater Center is generous, we highly recommend carpooling (especially if going to the after-party, where parking is limited).
When
Doxacon Seattle 2024 will officially open at 8:00 am on Saturday, February 10th, 2024. We will be setting up the convention center at 7:00 am – we are always happy for volunteer help! The convention will officially end at 5:30 pm, with cleanup until 6:30 pm.
After the convention, we will be gathering at Zulu’s Board Game Cafe for an optional after-party. This is un-programmed time, meant to be an opportunity for returning and new attendees to (re)connect and enjoy fellowship & food together. If you’re available, we hope you’ll join in the fun!
Health & safety
Following King county recommendations, we are encouraging but not requiring attendees to wear face masks.. If you have tested positive for COVID or are experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms on the day of the convention, we ask you to stay home – you can request a refund for your membership from info@doxaconseattle.com
